The Friday 56 is a fun meme brought to you by the superb blog, Freda’s Voice. The rules are simple and are listed below.
*Grab a book, any book.
*Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader
(If you have to improvise, that’s ok.)
*Find any sentence, (or few, just don’t spoil it)
*Add your (URL) post at Freda’s Voice in the Linky. Add the post URL, not your blog URL.
*It’s that simple.
Here is my pick for this week:
This excerpt is from book “Animal Farm” by Orwell. I am pretty sure, many of us have already read the book during school time. But read it again today, and I guarantee it will freak you out with its bluntness. In this chilling tale about an animal farm, we can easily replace the animals with politicians, leaders, businessmen and people around us. The horrific part it, though this book was written in 1945, it still holds true today.
Let’s talk friends, what do you think about this book? Did this book freak you out as much as it did to me?
By the way, what are you reading this Friday?
